Introduction

I am not a stay at home mom, I work full-time. My husband is gone for 8+ hours on Thursday nights and the weekend. So we have a lot of free time to do various activities. We decided to use it to organize our house before we go on vacation in 2 weeks.  We decided to start with our kitchen cabinets, because it can be messy and difficult to clean.  We have been married for 5 years and we are very close so organizing items together makes it fun as well!

What we did:

We made a list of all the items that we needed cleaned; like glasses, food storage containers, silverware etc. Before buying any cleaning products I consulted my hubby and he gave me no problems with using the products on my cabinet doors (see below). Also some items can be too delicate or fragile so you also need to know what you're doing before purchasing anything (I bought wood cleaner specifically for wood/metal/veneer finish). If you're not sure what to purchase, ask your family members if they use this type of stuff in their homes! My dad told me that everyone uses Lysol wipes and I was sold from there!

The entire process took us about 3 hours including viewing YouTube videos and reading through the instructions on Pinterest . Below are the products I used (and why):
